Kinetic IT has been selected by the Department of Defence to deliver ICT Service Desk, Switchboard, and Base Services Contact Centre services.
Kinetic IT awarded ICT contract with Department of Defence
The two-year contract, which can potentially be extended to a maximum of four years, will see the delivery of these services, providing Defence personnel with a quick and efficient communications and inquiry source for on-base needs.
The Aussie company, which has been operational for more than 26 years in the industry, said this is a very proud moment for them, with it being a reflection of the “commitment and effort that Kinetic IT’s Defence support teams put in each and every day”.
“We are honoured to continue our collaboration with the Australian Department of Defence and to deliver these services,” said Leighton Freene, Kinetic’s managing director for defence and government.
“Defence plays a critical role in Australia’s national security, and we are proud to provide the ICT capabilities that support its mission.”
Kinetic IT has been used by the Defence’s ICT sector since its first contract for an ICT Service Desk in 2019, providing technological and digital support to “mission-critical environments”.
“This agreement recognises the strength of our sovereign solutions; the technical capability of our staff and our dedication to evergreen customer service,” said Freene.
The “world-class” capabilities that Kinetic supplies seek to increase resilient services within the mission environment.
Kinetic has hundreds of personnel cleared by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency, making its customer services to Defence personnel highly regarded, understood, and valued.
Supporting defence operations around the world, Kinetic said its experience in supporting over 700,000 end users across a myriad of industries makes its partnership with Defence a clear display of its continued efforts.
