The new appointment will support local channel partners and focus on improving relationships in the region.
IT management firm SolarWinds has appointed a new regional sales director to manage the company’s business in Australia and New Zealand.
Rahul Tabeck will take up the role, bringing 17 years of experience with cloud, SaaS, and CMS applications to the position. Tabeck is expected to boost customer relationships while bringing new revenue acceleration strategies into play.
Bharat Bedi, managing director of SolarWinds Asia-Pacific and Japan, feels Tabeck is a perfect hire for the role.
“Rahul’s extensive IT industry experience and knowledge of the Pacific region make him the ideal candidate to lead our ANZ operations,” Bedi said in a statement. “We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to accelerating our ANZ customers’ journey in digital transformation with him in tandem.”
Tabeck is excited by the opportunities the role presents.
“It’s both a thrill and challenge to join SolarWinds during such an exciting time,” Tabeck said.
“I see a huge opportunity as SolarWinds has evolved into a full-stack observability software company helping customers reduce time to detect and resolve IT operations issues. This is a long journey from being a network and infra-monitoring player. I look forward to working with our customers and partners to apprehend our value and help them fast-track their digital transformation journey.”
SolarWinds opened its first data centre in Australia in 2023.
