The company has upgraded the StorageCraft Cloud Services Basic to 500GB backup per machine, annual retention points, and powerful cloud portal management, at a $25 per machine price point, including on-premises data protection licence for either ShadowXafe or ShadowProtect.

According to Ashley Darwen, managing director at the ADITS Group, more and more customers are asking for cloud backup services, we have struggled to solve their needs with a solution that is robust, flexible, easy to manage, and profitable.

"StorageCraft Cloud Services Basic solves this problem. Features such as annual retention that offer up to 20 recovery points mean that we can configure backup and recovery around customers' specific needs," Darwen said.

"In addition, the central and easy-to-use self-service portal makes management remarkably simple and efficient and further adds to the ROI."

Arcserve's StorageCraft Cloud Services Basic is designed to offer MSPs to service a wider range of customer use cases, including small businesses and data protection for small physical and virtual workstations.

Unlike typical cloud services providers that add fees for features such as bringing customer data in and out of the cloud or recovering files in the event of failure, these features are standard in StorageCraft Cloud Services. The StorageCraft Cloud Services Basic use cases are aimed at being economically viable by enabling MSPs to pool storage across multiple machines for maximum flexibility and ROI.

Enhancing the economics and ROI of StorageCraft Cloud Services will assist MSPs gain access to more organic and new revenue opportunities, Florian Malecki, senior director, international product marketing at Arcserve, added.

"As a 100 per cent channel-focused company, we are committed to ensuring our partners can solve all their customers' data protection and business continuity with ease and agility, regardless of their size, complexity and location," Malecki said.
