CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, expanding its Falcon platform with capabilities designed to monitor AI agent behaviour and identify security weaknesses before systems reach production.
According to the company, Fiddler AI will bring observability, explainability, and behavioural accountability to the Falcon platform.
The integration will detect behavioural drift and unintended actions, while providing audit evidence and tracking AI-related costs. CrowdStrike plans to offer the capabilities as Falcon Observe, with general availability expected in the fourth quarter of Financial Year 2027.
“When a regulator or your board asks what an agent did, saying ‘the model did it’ is not an answer,” said CrowdStrike chief executive and founder George Kurtz.
“Fiddler is the flight recorder for every agent: the observability to explain exactly what an agent did and why.”
For its part, Dreadnode will add automated AI security testing to the mix, allowing organisations to assess models, applications, agents, and model context protocol servers against more than 100 attack strategies.
Dreadnode 's technology can rank vulnerabilities; map findings to frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE ATLAS, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework; and support human review and remediation decisions. Its findings will also feed into Falcon Guardian as policy recommendations.
The company's team will join CrowdStrike's Cyber Superintelligence Lab, contributing to research into AI security and the assessment of frontier models.
Both acquisitions are expected to close during CrowdStrike's fourth quarter of FY27.
