CrowdStrike has made its Falcon platform available on Google Cloud infrastructure, giving enterprises greater control over where security data is processed and stored as cloud and AI workloads expand.
The move comes as organisations increasingly run AI workloads in cloud environments, creating pressure to secure endpoints, identities, cloud workloads and data without fragmenting security operations across multiple platforms.
According to the announcement, made at Fal.Con in Las Vegas, Falcon will initially be available on US regional Google Cloud infrastructure, with CrowdStrike planning to expand into additional Google Cloud regions.
The company said the approach will enable in-region data processing to support data localisation requirements while reducing the operational complexity of running security across different cloud environments.
“Every enterprise has become a multi-cloud organisation,” Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, said.
“By bringing Falcon to Google Cloud, we’re giving customers greater choice on where they run their business, making it easier than ever before to consolidate cybersecurity on the platform they trust to stop breaches.”
The integration is designed to address a growing challenge for security teams as cloud estates become more distributed. Fragmented security tooling can create visibility gaps and increase operational overhead, while data residency requirements can restrict where security telemetry and workloads can be processed.
