Based in the UK, bet365 is an online sports betting company that operates in countries all over the world, including most of Europe, North America, and Oceania, including Australia.
The company was listed on an infamous hacking forum by a threat actor using the moniker “pablomotos” on 22 June.
“Today, I am putting a bet365 database up for sale, a CSV file containing over 120 million user records,” the threat actor said.
“This database includes identifying fields such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, and IDs.”
The threat actor also provided a sample of the data, with each sample entry being from a different country. The samples seemed to reflect the claims made in the post’s description, including names, phone numbers, emails, national ID details, bank account information, tax file numbers and country.
“To buy contact me,” the threat actor said.
Bet365 has yet to acknowledge the claims. Cyber Daily has reached out to bet365 for more information and is currently awaiting a response.
