A veteran technology sales leader is set to accelerate regional growth and deepen customer engagement across Australia and New Zealand.
Cyber security firm Rapid7 has promoted Soumi Mukherjee to sales director for Australia and New Zealand, as the company looks to strengthen its regional presence and support organisations facing an expanding threat landscape.
With more than two decades of experience leading sales teams across Asia-Pacific and ANZ, Mukherjee will focus on driving growth and helping customers secure increasingly complex digital environments.
“Cyber security is a constantly evolving space, and I’m excited to help our customers take a more proactive, intelligent approach to managing risk,” Mukherjee said in a 21 October statement.
“Rapid7 has a strong culture of innovation and collaboration, and I’m looking forward to building on that foundation as we support more organisations on their security journey.”
Mukherjee joined Rapid7 in 2018 from Interlock Technologies, where she was an account director for four years.
“Soumi has been a key contributor to our success in the region,” Rob Dooley, Rapid7’s vice president and general manager for APJ, said.
“Her leadership, technical acumen, and customer focus make her the ideal person to lead our ANZ sales team as we expand our presence and continue helping businesses stay ahead of emerging threats.”
