The new service offers continuous red teaming and exposure validation within a single Command Platform.
New service combines continuous red teaming with compliance-focused testing to help organisations validate controls, meet audit requirements, and identify real-world attack paths.
Cyber security company Rapid7 has announced the launch of Vector Command Advanced, an expansion of its continuous red-teaming service designed to help organisations validate internal controls, strengthen compliance processes, and improve visibility into their attack surface.
The new service integrates continuous red teaming with internal penetration and segmentation testing, providing organisations with a unified platform for assessing both external and internal security postures. By aligning with compliance requirements such as PCI, ISO 27001, and NIST, the platform aims to support audit readiness while uncovering potential attack paths across complex environments.
“Security leaders today are looking for outcomes. Ultimately, they need to be able to demonstrate that their controls work, they’re reducing risk, and they can pass the audit. Vector Command Advanced delivers that proof,” Craig Adams, chief product officer at Rapid7, said in a statement.
“Combined with the deep visibility of Surface Command and the scalable, integrated power of our Command Platform, Vector Command Advanced underscores how automation, integration, and human-led red teaming can transform how organisations manage their attack surface and meet growing regulatory pressure.”
Rapid7 said the service emulates adversary behaviour to test the effectiveness of internal controls, including defences against lateral movement, while producing documentation tailored for regulatory and audit standards.
By combining automation with expert-led validation, Vector Command Advanced is positioned as a tool for both risk reduction and compliance assurance, giving security teams greater confidence in their ability to withstand real-world threats while meeting growing regulatory demands.
