How did you start down this career path?
Marco Delgado began his career focused on electronic design, which later expanded to include ICT computing and networking hardware and software systems. After founding Outcomex and later 365mesh, moving into IoT and AI became a natural progression of his earlier career developments and interests.
What inspires you in your role/industry? Why?
I’m passionate about developing high-performing teams that drive innovation in new products and technologies, creating meaningful impact in people’s everyday lives.
What's your approach to customer service that separates you from the rest?
Delivering great customer service requires striking the right balance by supporting suppliers, customers, and staff. This balance ultimately strengthens the overall service experience. Providing exceptional customer service also means ensuring consistency and quality at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
How do you innovate and stay ahead of industry trends?
We maintain our competitive edge by harnessing IoT and advanced AI, delivering end-to-end, cutting-edge technologies such as Agentic AI and multimodal neural networks tailored to specific industry applications. Additionally, by owning the manufacturing process, we gain greater speed, flexibility, and control, further strengthening our market advantage.
What is the toughest challenge you've faced in your role? How did you overcome it?
One of my greatest daily challenges is leading effectively without succumbing to burnout from 18–20 hour workdays, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What are some of your goals for the next 5 years?
Our goal is to accelerate market expansion and revenue growth by harnessing digital transformation and operational excellence. We remain dedicated to talent development and leadership through strategic hiring and ongoing training of our staff. With 365mesh and Farmdeck solutions already well received across Australia, we aim to fast-track global expansion through 2026 and beyond.
