ServiceNow is reportedly in talks to buy US-Israeli cyber security start-up Armis in a deal as high as US$7 billion (roughly AU$10.5 billion).
Founded in 2015, Armis specialises in helping organisations adopt new connected technologies “without fear of compromise”. The company is the global leader in cyber exposure management and serves over 40 per cent of the Fortune 100.
The company is reportedly valued at US$1.6 billion, having raised US$435 million in its November fundraising round, and was looking at securing an initial public offering in 2026, a goal of the company for several years.
In 2023, Armis co-founder and CEO Yevgeny Dibrov told CRN it was ramping up efforts to achieve an IPO.
According to the Bloomberg report, talks regarding the acquisition are in advanced stages, and an announcement could appear as early as this week. However, negotiations could still fall apart, according to Bloomberg.
Both ServiceNow and Armis have denied commenting on the incident following media requests.
News of the apparent Armis acquisition comes less than a fortnight after ServiceNow announced it had signed an agreement to acquire Veza Inc, a data security platform firm, for what is believed to be over US$1 billion.
