Welcome from Cyberdaily.au

Welcome to the third annual Australian Cyber Awards!

This Awards program recognises the best-and-the brightest in Australia’s cyber security industry who keep Australians and Australian businesses safe online.

The rate of digital transformation has created incredible risks and opportunities for the Australian economy. It is now projected that 62 percent of Australian small businesses have experienced a cyber incident, while the cost of cyber crime incidents to medium sized businesses has ballooned to $97,000.

Tonight, we applaud those professionals who work tirelessly to keep us safe online- from CISOs who are driving a culture of cyber security in their organisations to our industry’s future rising stars.

To our finalists, I'd like to extend a heartfelt congratulations; Your hard work, commitment, dedication, and grit has not gone unnoticed. Best of luck to you all.

On behalf of the team at Cyber Daily, I look forward to celebrating with all of our finalists and winners this evening and raising a toast to their incredible efforts. I thank our principal partner CrowdStrike for their ongoing support, as well as our gold partner ThreatLocker, event partner Finni Mortgages, research partner agile market intelligence, and our charity partner Invictus Australia.

If you have any questions throughout the night, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of the Cyber Daily or Captivate teams.

Yours,

Liam Garman
Editor, Cyber Daily
